Temporary Pause In Research Flights

A letter from Zero-G's CEO, Kevin Sproge
To The Zero-G Research Community,
We’re reaching out with an important operational update that we know may come as unwelcome news—and we want to share it with openness and respect for your continued partnership.
Everts Air Cargo, our long-time operating certificate holder, recently informed us of a strategic shift in their internal operations. As part of that transition, they will no longer authorize Zero-G to conduct flights under their Part 121 Certificate. While we’re naturally disappointed by the change, we fully respect Everts’ decision and remain sincerely grateful for the many years of support and collaboration we've shared.
Although this decision was outside of Zero-G’s control, we understand the disruption it may cause for your research planning. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are actively working to return to operations as soon as possible.
As a result of this development, we’re actively working with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to secure our own Part 121 operating certificate–a major milestone that will strengthen Zero-G’s long-term stability and independence. While we do not yet have a confirmed timeline for when this process will be completed, we’re encouraged by the FAA’s recognition of the important role our flights play in supporting U.S. government and commercial space research, and they have agreed to expedite our application.
To remain in full compliance, Zero-G is currently unable to discuss or confirm future flight dates until we receive formal clearance from the FAA outlining a realistic timeline for the resumption of our operations.
We want to emphasize that this is a temporary pause, and we’re confident the result will be a stronger and more resilient Zero-G—better positioned to support your microgravity research for years to come. We’ll continue to keep you informed as we reach key milestones in the certification process.
As always, we welcome your questions and remain fully committed to supporting your groundbreaking work and the advancement of science.
Sincerely,
Kevin Sproge
CEO
