Welcome to Zero-G's Teacher Blogs

Welcome to ZERO-G's Online Education Community!

In close partnership with Northrop Grumman, Space Florida, SpaceTEC, Brevard Community College and many more, ZERO-G is able to provide education, research and workforce programs from which tomorrow's mathematicians, scientists, technicians and engineers will emerge.

All education and research programs begin with rich, content-based workshops using hands-on activities. Incorporating the National Standards for science and math, the workshops prepare participants for their weightless experience and initiate the process of classroom integration.

This site is part of that process and is offered as a centralized resource to educators, researchers and workforce members scheduled for flights aboard G-Force 1. Here you can communicate with fellow flyers, plan experiments, obtain workshop and flight information, discuss classroom or practical application as well as post outcomes and curriculum.

We are thrilled to have you as a member of our weightless, online community.

Very best,

Michelle Peters

NSTA course work

Starting on my NSTA course work on force and motion.

Force and motion 101

Wow, going through the NSTA trainer on Force and Motion. I can see how this would have helped my students when I did my Newton unit last year!

The simple task projects which frame position were very engaging.

THANKS MOM!

I was accepted to the program less than 24 hours ago. My husband and friends are in awe, my husband tells me how talented I am.

Now that I am sobering, I realize the person I have to thank in my mom. My mother was very dedicated to me as a child and always inspired a love for science.
During my formative years my mother would wake me at 1 in the morning to come and look out at the moon and stars on our telescope. She always hoped I would consider a career with NASA.
