WHAT ARE THE DISTINCTIONS BETWEEN THE GOLD, SILVER AND BLUE FLOATING ZONES?
The aircraft is segmented into three Floating Zones; gold, silver and blue. Each Floating Zone contains 12 participants and delivers equal floating time and space. Each section provides the same ZERO-G Experience® as the next.
Are there age restrictions?
Children 8 years of age or older can experience weightlessness aboard G-FORCE ONE®. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Each child under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
ZERO-G has no age limit and has enjoyed the attendance of several passengers in their 90’s.
Will I experience Motion Sickness?
It is very unlikely that you will experience motion discomfort. The ZERO-G Experience® was designed to provide flyers a fun and pleasant experience, and over the years we have succeeded in reducing the number of flyers who experience motion discomfort on G-FORCE ONE. Today, very few people experience uneasiness or nausea during the flight.
However, if you are prone to motion discomfort, here are some suggestions we encourage you to consider.
- Use of over the counter medication: Dramamine and Meclizine are most common and often used by our flyers. Other products, such as MotionEaze or Sea Band, have also been used by our past flyers. These non prescription medicines are widely available and can be found at most drugstores.
- Consultation with your physician: If you feel that over the counter medications are not sufficient, we strongly recommend that you consult your physician to discuss your options including prescription medicines.
During the preflight training, we provide some useful tips on in-flight movements that will help you reduce your chance of getting sick. Unlike the astronauts in training, our flyers will experience between 12-15 parabolas, which is enough to have fun, but not long enough to cause motion discomfort.
What is ZERO-G’s Refund and transfer policy?
Once a ZERO-G Experience® or Non-Flyer Guest Package is purchased, your reservation is nonrefundable and cannot be changed. However, it is transferable; you may provide the name of a passenger to take your place up to five business days prior to your scheduled flight day.
The purchaser acknowledges that all passengers will be required to agree to the terms and conditions of ZERO-G, will attend all pre-flight training and sign all flyer registration forms including a liability waiver and medical declaration prior to flight. In the event that a passenger is unable to meet these terms and conditions, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to transfer the reservation to a passenger who does accept the terms and conditions and notify ZERO-G. The purchaser also acknowledges that passengers are required to adhere to the provided flight day itinerary. Check-in closes two hours prior to the scheduled departure time. If any passenger fails to report on time with their required government issued identification, they forfeit the experience and will not qualify for a refund or reschedule.
ZERO-G has the right to reschedule or cancel a flight for any reason. This includes, but is not limited to: cancelled airspace, mechanical and/or maintenance, and minimum passenger requirements. ZERO-G will inform passengers of a rescheduled or cancelled flight by written notice as soon as the cancellation has been confirmed or a rescheduled date is set. ZERO-G will make every attempt to notify passengers no later than ten business days prior to their scheduled flight. If the flight has been rescheduled, the passenger has three business days to choose either a full refund or an alternate scheduled flight date. If no choice is made within three business days the purchaser will forfeit the right to a refund and must fly on the rescheduled flight. If the flight has been cancelled, a ZERO-G representative will contact you with options including a full refund. Refunds will not be issued for reservations made using a ZERO-G Gift Certificate. Passengers that are unable to reschedule will be reissued a new ZERO-G Gift Certificate with an updated expiration date of one year from the rescheduled or cancelled flight.
In the unlikely event that any condition prevents ZERO-G from flying, ZERO-G will make its best effort to reschedule the flight within 48 hours of the scheduled flight. If ZERO-G is unable to reschedule a flight within 48 hours, the purchaser can either receive a full refund or book a seat on any other available ZERO-G flight within 12 months of the original scheduled flight. The extent of ZERO-G’s liability is limited to refund of the price paid for the ZERO-G Experience and/or Non-Flyer Package.
